Last month I received an email from a room parent in York, Pennsylvania who was interested in sharing information about the plastic bag recycling process with the students in two 4th and 6th grade classes in honor of Earth Day. She told me that she stumbled upon an Earth 911 video by Jennifer Berry of our plastic bag recycling facility in North Vernon, Indiana – the largest plastic bag recycling facility in the world – and wanted to reach out to see if I could provide her with any materials that would give the kids a “hands on” experience as they learn about recycling.
